Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the PawScope mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by PawScope ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

PawScope provides:

AI-powered dog breed identification
Dog breed information and comparisons
Database of dog-friendly places
Community features for sharing
Premium subscription features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Terms

  • Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store at $3.99/month (price may vary by location)
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

4.2 Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trialfor new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (reviews, photos, place submissions). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

5.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that:

Is false, misleading, or inaccurate
Infringes on intellectual property
Contains hate speech or harassment
Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
Contains spam or solicitations
Violates the privacy of others

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by PawScope and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

Breed Identification

Our AI breed identification is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. Results are not guaranteed and should not be used for breeding, veterinary, or legal purposes.

Place Information

Information about dog-friendly places is provided "as is." We recommend contacting venues directly to confirm current pet policies before visiting.

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data
  • Errors or inaccuracies in breed identification
